Community Day!

community day is an annual lower elementary tradition that gives students the opportunity To meet and interact with the local community helpers who keep our community safe, healthy, and running every day. students get an up-close, hands-on look at the people, equipment, vehicles and missions behind these important roles. This is a fully Immersive experience that allows students to ask questions, learn about personal and community Safety, explore Specialized gear, and discover what it takes to serve others. Community day helps our students recognize familiar faces behind these essential services and creates a greater understanding and Appreciation for the people who work every day to support our community.
Fall Fest
November 6th, 2026 5:00-8:00pm
Fall Fest is one of our favorite University Academy Family Traditions. Come join us for an evening packed with fun! we will have game booths, bounces houses and Obstacle Courses for all ages, photo booth to capture your evening with friends and family. of course we can’t forget the dunk tank! make sure you get your tickets to dunk your favorite teacher!
we will have a variety of food trucks, and pizza to purchase, and our PTO Store will be open to get your school swag! Tickets for Fall Fest, Pizza and Dunk tank will go on sale early october so stay tuned to UA Updates for more information. Event is open to UA Families only.
Holiday Store
December 7-10th, 2026
The School Holiday Shop is one of the most exciting traditions for our students—and one of the most fun opportunities for parent volunteers!
During school hours, students get to shop independently using an allowance sent in by their parents. Shopping without Mom or Dad makes it extra special! Kids get to choose thoughtful gifts for family members, build confidence as they make their own selections, and keep their purchases a surprise.
Parent volunteers help students shop, assist with their selections, and beautifully gift-wrap each present to take home.
It’s a jolly good time for everyone and a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season!

Our sweethearts are formally invited to an unforgettable evening at the University Academy Daddy-Daughter Dance!Calling all Dads, Granddads, Uncles, and special role models—dust off those dancing shoes and get ready to dance the night away with your favorite girl! Enjoy sweet treats, refreshments, fun photo opportunities, and most importantly, a special night filled with laughter, dancing, and memories she’ll treasure forever. Come dressed to impress and ready to dance!

Dress up, bring your friends, hit the dance floor, and enjoy an evening made just for our middle school students. With great music, fun photo opportunities, snacks, and plenty of memories to make, it’s sure to be a night to remember! This is for current UA middle school students only . Attire is semi formal.

UA moms and sons join is on an adventure! From arcades to amusement venues and everything in between, this special event is all about getting out, having fun, and making memories together. You never know what adventure is coming next—but you can always count on a great time!
Teacher Appreciation Week

Teacher appreciation week is a five-day celebration dedicated to honoring and thanking our incredible teaching staff! the UA PTO partners with room moms and UA families to create a Thoughtful, planned week filled with daily opportunities to show our teachers just how much they are appreciated. Throughout the week teachers are treated to meals, coffee breakts, sweet treats, suprises, and heartfelt gestures of gratitude. Each Day brings a new way for families to participate and help make our teachers feel celebrated. Our goal is simple: to make sure every teachers feels valued, care for and leaves each day with a full heart.
Scholastic Book Fair

Our University Academy Book Fair is a favorite tradition for book lovers of all ages! Browse the latest and greatest titles for your students, along with plenty of books the whole family will enjoy. Parents can set up an eWallet ahead of time for easy, cash-free shopping, and you can even help build your child’s classroom library by contributing to their teacher’s account. Come shop, see your student discover new favorites, and make reading even more exciting! It’s also a fun volunteer opportunity through the PTO !
